About
I’m Ayan Qureshi, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Wisconsin. I provide therapy services to clients in Wisconsin and offer coaching services to individuals across the U.S.

Trauma and PTSD
Depression
Grief and major life transitions
Common Concerns
Much of my work centers around experiences that are often not openly talked about:
Family pressure & unspoken dynamics (knowing something is wrong but being told it’s not or pretending it doesn’t exist/didn’t happen)
Boundaries with parents & guilt (feeling like you’re not allowed to say “no”)
Staying in relationships that don’t feel right (but are hard to leave due to culture or expectations)
Navigating divorce (cultural shame, is it the right decision?, what will my life look like after?)
Constant self-doubt & overthinking (maybe I am just not good enough, am I wrong?, do I need to do more?)
Religious trauma (feeling disconnected, conflicted, or unsure how your faith fits in your life)
People pleasing (feeling responsible for how others feel, especially family)

Therapist Reflection
You grew up in a home where everything looked fine. Your basic needs were met—food, shelter, education. Love may have been shown through sacrifice or responsibility.
But something felt missing.
You learned to adjust, stay quiet and not question things.
Even when something didn’t feel right.
Now, as an adult, you might notice confusion in relationships, difficulty trusting your own feelings, guilt when setting boundaries or a constant sense that something is “off”.
This is the work we do together
We slow things down and make sense of patterns that have been there for a long time.
We separate what you were taught from what actually feels right for you.
And we work toward a version of you that feels more clear, grounded and like yourself.
